Program

Welcome to Puglia

Cisternino, one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, is a charming whitewashed town with narrow alleys, flowered balconies, and stunning views over the Valle d’Itria. It is also known for its culinary tradition, especially the “Fornelli Pronti”, where visitors can choose fresh meat and have it grilled on the spot.

Nearby, centuries-old Masserie offer an authentic countryside stay, combining traditional Apulian charm with modern rustic comfort, and serving as an ideal base to explore the region. Guests are welcomed with a local cocktail and a tasting of regional flavors, followed by a traditional welcome dinner in a local restaurant, marking the beginning of an immersive Apulian experience.

Polignano and Mola di Bari

After breakfast, the journey continues to the village of Speziale for a private visit to the Oronzo Crovace dairy, where you will discover the traditional process of making mozzarella and burrata, followed by a tasting of artisanal cheeses. The experience then moves to Polignano a Mare, the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, famous for its cliffs, sea views, and historic connection to Domenico Modugno.

After a guided visit and free time in the old town, the day continues to Mola di Bari, known for its vibrant fish market. Here, you will select fresh seafood for a hands-on cooking class, preparing your dinner with Marika at the Masseria, where the day concludes in an intimate and authentic setting.

A Taste of Tradition: Hidden Flavors

After breakfast, a private transfer takes you to a historic masseria near Pezze di Greco, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Here you will enjoy a farm-to-table experience, foraging fresh herbs and seasonal ingredients before taking part in a hands-on cooking class, followed by a gourmet lunch celebrating Apulian flavors.
In the afternoon, the journey continues to Ostuni, the “White City”, where a guided tour reveals its historic center, cathedral, and panoramic views, with free time to explore artisan shops. The day ends back at the masseria with a rich aperitivo featuring local delicacies and wines, in a relaxed countryside setting.

Martina Franca and Alberobello

After breakfast, the day begins with a private visit to a famous Salumificio to discover the production of the famous Capocollo di Martina Franca, followed by a tasting of traditional cured meats. A guided walk through Martina Franca reveals its elegant Baroque architecture and historic center.

The journey continues for a vineyard visit, wine tasting, and olive oil experience led by a sommelier, accompanied by a light lunch. In the afternoon, you will explore Alberobello, the world capital of trulli, with a guided tour of its historic districts and free time to wander its artisan shops. The day ends with a traditional dinner in a local restaurant before returning to the Masseria.

Grottaglie and Ceglie Messapica

The full-day excursion begins in Grottaglie, the “City of Ceramics”, where a guided tour explores its historic pottery district and traditional workshops, still active today and known for iconic handmade pieces like the “Pumo”.

The journey continues to Ceglie Messapica, one of Puglia’s oldest towns, for a gourmet lunch followed by a walk through its historic center, featuring the Ducal Castle and charming alleyways.
On the return, you will enjoy an aperitif in the vineyards of the Masseria before heading back.
