Marika Contaldo Seguso, passion for food and entertainment has begun back in 1998 working in NY at Chantarelle Restaurant and at Cantinori Restaurant and later, at Buitoni & Garretti, Italian Gourmet Food Boutique.
After graduating at the International Culinary Institute of NYC, in 2001 co-founded with her partner Yolanda Garretti Acquolina Catering in New York. Acquolina became soon the Catering of reference for lovers of Italian Cuisine, with names of famous customers such as Nicola Bulgari, Salvatore e Chiara Ferragamo, Thomas Shumaker, Mrs. Kennedy, Mr and Mrs Rotchilds, Hillary Clinton and many others.
After moving back to Venice with her family, the passion for food and entertainment moved her to start in 2004 a new project that is the Italian Corporation for Acquolina Catering based in her own Villa in Venice Lido, where she gave life to an Italian Hospitality Boutique.
As described by our guests, Villa Ines is a charming elegant corner of paradise, where, thanks to Marika each guest can experience her Culinary class and immerge into the real Italian and Venetian life style.
Catering service are offer for Corporate and Private Events, to Weddings.
Some of Marika’s Corporate clients are Cartier, Piaget, Dior, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, David Chipperfield just to mention a few.
Her experience for over a decade in two different countries from the back of the kitchen to the little details that any event required, for an extensive number of customer, brought her to move forward, specializing in exclusive event tailor made on the customer.
Today with 20 years of dedicated passion in this field, while she overview Acquolina Catering and Villa Ines Hospitality, she follows selected customers as Private Event Planner in order to satisfy all their needs and make their bespoke event memorable, from a unique dinner for two to a celebration with 600 guests.
Marika lives in Venice Lido with her husband and four children.
